Concept introduction:
Birds shared close evolutionary relationship with reptile. Birds belong to a group of reptiles called archosaurs. Birds are the avian reptiles characterized by keratinous scales on their legs and feathers. Feathers form the outer body covering of a bird which helps them to fly in air. This feature of birds differentiates them from all groups of living organism.
