The organisms which might be infected with Borrelia a pathogen which causes Lyme disease.
Introduction:
Members of genus Ixodes, as deer ticks are the carrier of Borrelia, causes Lyme disease in hosts. Lyme disease is characterized by a distinctive “bull’s eye” rash on the skin. Some other symptoms are fatigue, stiff neck, fever, joint and muscle pains, and infected lymph nodes. Severe arthritis occurs in the last phase of Lyme disease, which may last for 2 years.
