Introduction:

Taxonomy is the science of classifying organisms based on similar characteristics. In taxonomy millions of different species are subdivided into different taxonomic levels which are called taxa. The order of taxonomic levels is domain, supergroup, kingdom, phylum, class, order, family, genus, species. each of these taxon includes progressively smaller number of species which are more similar to each other. Classifying millions of species into different taxonomic groups makes it easier to study the relationship among species.
