The lymph node is a small, ovoid, bean-shaped gland size ranging from a few mm to 2 cm, which is present all over the body. The function of a lymph node is to maintain a healthy immune system. Lymph nodes act as a barrier for cancer and foreign particles. There are 450 numbers of lymphatic organs that are present in an adult. The main function of a lymph node is to cleanse the lymph and B cell, T cell activation site.
