High blood pressure is usually treated with medications. Two kinds of high blood pressure medications are diuretics and ACE inhibitors. Diuretics help the body get rid of excess sodium and water. ACE inhibitors help blood vessels relax and open up. How could each of these medications help reduce blood pressure?
