To determine:

The way in which biologist can design a simple experiment to determine whether a plant is typical ${\text{C}}_{\text{4}}$ plant or a CAM plant is to be determined.

Introduction:

The ${\text{C}}_{\text{3}}$ photosynthesis is used by the plant that lives in warm and dry environmental condition. In the night, the plant fixes carbon dioxide to form the ${\text{C}}_{\text{4}}$ molecules and in day time plant release carbon dioxide which enters into the Calvin cycle. The plants use this cycle to prevent the water loss and gain of carbon dioxide.
