Leukaemia is a white blood cell cancer that takes place in the body of an individual as the result of a reciprocal translocation. Chemotherapy is used for the treatment of leukaemia. In chemotherapy, patients are given drugs that kill the cancer cells, but these drugs may result in many side effects.
