The nervous systems comprise of neurons that are the building blocks of the body’s communication system. It consists of an organized network of neurons for passing signals efficiently from the brain to the various parts of the body. The nervous system consists of the central nervous system that has the brain and the spinal cord and the peripheral nervous system consisting of nerves and nerve networks.

The endocrine system is important for communicating messages from the glands to the various tissues or organs. It is essential for the metabolism, digestion, blood pressure regulation, and growth of the body. Both these systems are not directly linked but the two systems interact in many ways.
