Concept introduction: The intra-specific interaction is a type of interaction between species. Dominating species survive and progressively increase in this type of interaction. When the members of same or different species start living in a particular habitat; they show some effects on each other, due to limited resources. These effects produced by organisms on each other are known as biological interactions. These interactions may be short-term like predation or long-term like mutualism.
