Question
Chapter 2, Problem 9RQ
Summary Introduction
Introduction:
The breathing rate in a normal individual is about 12-18 breaths per minute. The breathing rate is altered in case of any complexity in the functioning of the lungs. There are multiple types of breathing patterns, such as slow breathing or rapid breathing, deep breathing or shallow breathing and these have clinical importance in the diagnosis of diseases. One such pattern is rapid and shallow breathing, in which the breathing counts per minute increase.
