Chief Information Officer (CIO):
Chief Information Officer, also known as Chief Digital Information Officer (CDIO) or Information Technology (IT) director refers to the most senior executive in an organization who works for the information technology which supports enterprise goals. Usually, the CIO reports to the Chief Executive Officer directly and sometimes to the Chief Operating Officer or Chief Financial Officer.
