Program Plan Intro
Scrum:
- Scrum is a model which is mainly used for completing projects with a complex and innovative scope of work.
- The basic scrum framework includes the following.
- A product owner who creates a prioritized wish list known as a product backlog.
- The team pulls a small chunk from the top of the wish list which is the sprint backlog and decides how to implement these pieces during sprint planning.
- The team has a certain amount of time to complete its work which is known as the sprint.
- Time for completing the project may take about two to three weeks.
- The scrum master makes the team to focus on its goal.
- The sprint ends with a sprint review and retrospective.
Kanban:
- Kanban is a visual system for managing work as it moves through a process.
- Kanban visualizes both the process or workflow and the actual work passing through that process.
- The main goal of Kanban is to identify the bottlenecks in the process and fix them so that work can flow at an optimal speed or throughput.
