To describe: The reasons why the determination of the microbial classifications and characteristics is essential.

Introduction: Microorganisms inhabit almost every place on the Earth. The collection of microorganisms that are found in an animal body is called flora or microbial flora. Normal flora and transient flora are two types of flora found in the body. Normal flora, also called resident flora, resides superficially or found in the internal organs of the human body, which are usually harmless. The transient flora visits the body at particular times and they are either harmless or cause disease sometimes.
