Introduction:

Two or more atoms interact with each other to form an element. In an atom, the electrons are present in the orbits and revolve around the nucleus. The electrons present in the outermost shell or orbit are known as valence electrons, which are mainly responsible for the bond formation by sharing or transferring between the interacting atoms. For an atom to be stable, the valence shell must be completely filled.
