Introduction:

Mass is an important factor even at the atomic level, as the subatomic particles also possess some mass. Mass of both proton and neutron is considered as 1 mu (mass unit), while the mass of an electron is much less than that of proton and is almost negligible. Two atoms can have the same mass number but cannot have the same atomic number.
