Interpretation Introduction

Interpretation: The final pressure, q, w and ΔU for the given reversible process under given conditions has to be calculated.

Concept introduction: The system is said to have gone through a process when the initial state is changed to the final state.  The properties of the system such as temperature, pressure, enthalpy, entropy are changes in thermodynamic process.  The second law of thermodynamics allows the classification of all processes into two main categories that is reversible and irreversible processes.  The first law of thermodynamics relates the work done and the heat supplied to the system.  It is represented by the formula given below as,

  ΔU=q+w
