The strength of the intermolecular interactions increases from low to high as follows: Induced dipole - induced dipole < Dipole–dipole < Hydrogen bonding <Ion–dipole < Ion–ion The induced dipole-induced dipole interactions become stronger with a greater

polarizability. Dipole-dipole interactions become stronger with larger dipole moments. Hydrogen bonding becomes more extensive with a greater number of potential H-bond donors and H-bond acceptors.
