The characters you are writing for are nurses, doctors, patients, and patients’ families in a hospital. It’s up to you to create the location or department in the hospital (Emergency Room, the nurses’ station, or even the hallway), the characters in your scene, the topic they will discuss, and how the conversation unfolds.
