Concept introduction:

Nucleic acids (biopolymers) are comprised of nucleotides that are monomers. The monomers are composed of three components they are a phosphate group, a sugar molecule (5-carbon), and nitrogenous base. Nucleic acids play a vital role in all the biomolecules. They present in every living things (nucleus), where they act to form, encode, and store the information.
