Shared resources:

• The computer data, information or hardware devices that can be accessed from a remote computer through a local area network (LAN) or enterprise intranet are known as shared resources.
• Shared resources are also known as network resources and it allows users to operate as if shared resource were on their own computer.
• The most frequently shared objects are files, data, multimedia, hardware resources and so on.
