I would like to visit Guatemala. Guatemala is located in Central America. It borders in the north with México. In the south with Honduras and El Salvador, in the East with Belize and the Caribbean Sea and in the west, it borders with the Pacific Ocean. Guatemala is an intriguing country that I would like to visit because it has so much to offer in terms of culture, history and heritage along with the beauty of its nature. It is called The Country of Eternal Spring because of its warm weather throughout the year. It is one of the most diverse country in Latin America because the country is divided by 21 Mayan indigenous communities. The official language of Guatemala is Spanish but there are 21 Mayan indigenous languages spoken throughout the country.

Guatemala is the capital of the ancient Mayan Civilization therefore while in visiting Guatemala one can go to Tikal to see the Mayan Temples. It is the number one touristic place in Guatemala. Near Guatemala City, the capital, is Antigua Guatemala. A colonial city founded by the Spaniards during the colonial period. Antigua Guatemala preserves the Spanish architecture. You will feel like being in some parts of Spain while you visit the city.

If you like nature then you must visit Lake Atitlan. A wonderful lake surrounded by mountains and three volcanoes.

This is why I would like to visit Guatemala. I believe the country has so much to offer me.
