The factors within a population that may make it more susceptible to infectious disease.
Introduction:
The infectious diseases could be spread by direct or indirect contact with the pathogen. As every individual is a part of the population and the pathogens are freely dispersed in the environment carrying this population. Hence, humans become easily susceptible to the pathogen exposed in the environment. Also, a particular population may be at a higher risk of getting affected by a pathogen. Thus, few populations are more susceptible to develop a particular disease.
