Introduction:
Liquid exert pressure on the object which is immersed in it. Liquid always flows from high pressure to low pressure.
As a tin can is dipped inside the water, pressure inside the tin can is low and pressure outside the tin can is high. So, water would flow and spurt through the hole. The flow of water is from high pressure to low pressure. The direction of water is perpendicular to the surface of tin can.
Conclusion:
The water flows into the can through the hole.
