The identification of different types of white blood cells (WBC) in stained blood smears.
Introduction:
The other name of WBC is leukocytes, commonly known as soldiers of the body as it helps the body to fight against many infections. WBC migrates to the connective tissue after crossing the walls of the capillaries and venules after spending a few hours in the bloodstream.
