The general functions and three major families of the lymphocytes.
Introduction:
An agranulocyte, lymphocytes are the smallest WBCs. They are 5 to 17 μm in diameter. They are second in abundance in the blood and form about 25% to 33% of the WBC count. Their nucleus is round, ovoid, or slightly dimpled from one side.
