Chapter 19, Problem 18DYKB
Summary Introduction
To give:
An overview of the two events for cardiac muscle contraction that include the conduction system and cardiac muscle cells.
Introduction:
Cardiac muscle contraction includes two events: conduction system and cardiac muscle cells (cardiac contraction). The cardiac conduction system has a group of specialized cardiac muscle cells within the heart wall which supply signals towards the heart muscle and making it contracted. Nodal cells are cardiac muscle cells that are responsible to establish the cardiac contraction and are present at sinoatrial (SA) and atrioventricular (AV).
