The role of the immune system in the prevention of cancer.

Introduction:

T cells stand for thymus cells and B cells stand for bone marrow cells. These cells are a part if the immune system. T cells directly destroy the problem cells while B cells mark the cells that need to be destroyed for other kinds of lymphocytes called natural killer cells. The immune system is important as it plays a defensive role against agents like microbes that are infectious or any cells or particle that is foreign to the body and its immune system.
