Introduction:
Vitamin E is a fat-soluble vitamin, that is resistant to the heat and visible light exposure. Vitamin E becomes unstable in the presence of oxygen and ultraviolet radiations. Hence, vitamin E is prone to oxidation.
Fat-soluble vitamins are those vitamins which are soluble in fats. Fat soluble vitamins require bile salts for their absorption. These vitamins are generally stored I the liver of the body.
