Introduction:

The erythrocytes are otherwise termed as erythrocytes. These are the most common kind of blood cells. Erythrocytes or red blood cells (RBCs) are one of the seven formed elements in the blood. They are profusely present in the blood and are most critical to survive. The erythrocytes consist of two major functions: gathering up of oxygen from the lungs and carry it to various tissues, and gathering the carbon dioxide from the tissues and emptying it from the lungs.
