Introduction:

The peptide hormones are the molecules that are formed from the array of amino acids and are hydrophilic in nature. The steroid hormones are derived from cholesterol and are hydrophobic but lipophilic in nature therefore; they can easily be transported inside the cell without the aid of carrier proteins. Therefore, they require carrier molecules to be transported inside the cell.
