Concept Introduction:
Birth control pills are the pills taken to prevent pregnancy. They are the analogs for the female sex hormones, estrogen and progesterone. Estrogen regulates the menstrual cycle and progesterone causes a state of false pregnancy. Every medicine or drug does have some side effects.
