Explanation of Solution

The urinary system plays an important role in maintaining the normal concentration of water and electrolytes in the body fluids, regulates the red blood cell production, maintains the blood pressure, and regulates the pH and volume of body fluids. The urinary system consists of a pair of kidneys, a pair of tubular ureters, urinary bladder, and tubular urethra. The pair of kidneys involves in removing substances from the blood and forms urine. The tubular ureters transport urine from the kidneys to the bladder. The urinary bladder involves in storing the urine, and the tubular urethra passes the urine to the outside of the body.
