Introduction:
The nerve cells of the Autonomic Nervous System (ANS) are attached to the smooth muscles of the organ. The ANS has two important divisions - the sympathetic and the parasympathetic system which help in regulating the activity of specific structures. The structure and location differ from each other. The sympathetic nerves are present in the gray matter.
