Introduction:

Myosin is the major compound of muscle thick filaments which consists of six polypeptides. These six peptides include two heavy chains and two pair of light chains. Heavy chains have a globular terminal myosin head which is joined to a helical carboxy-terminal segments which are known as the tails. The tails are tangled to form left handed coiled coil which has a diameter about 2 nmand 130-150 nm long.
