Introduction:

Transplantation is a process in which the transfer of cells, tissues, or organ of human from a one person (donor) to another (recipient) with an aim to rehabilitate the function of a body takes place. The cells of the recipient may recognize the tissue of donor as foreign and the body of recipient attempt to destroy the transferred tissue. It is termed as “tissue rejection reaction”. The two methods used to reduce the severity of a tissue rejection reaction are matching the molecules present on the cell surface and the other method is the use of immunosuppressive drugs.
