The significance of breastfeeding the baby immediately after birth and not once the mother and the baby comes back home.
Introduction:
Nursing or breastfeeding is very important for the wellbeing of the newly born baby as well as the mother. In fact, the baby must be immediately breastfed after birth. Breastfeeding has shown various impacts in later life such as the decreased risk of various diseases like respiratory infections and fewer chances of being affected by obesity in the adult stages. Also, cognitive development is said to improve and it is also proven through research. It is generally recommended that the baby must be breastfed for up to 6 months of age.
