The effect of molecules interfering with the type III secretion system(T3SS) on pathogens.

Introduction:

T3SS is a protein appendage thatis present in most of the Gram-negative bacteria. In the pathogenic bacteria, a sensory probe, which is needle-like in the structure, is used to secrete the proteins that help in developing the infection in the eukaryotic cells. These secreted proteins are known as effector proteins and are secreted directly into the host cell.
