Introduction:
The visible and colored region of the eye is referred to as iris. It is present between the lens and the cornea. The base of this region is attached to the ciliary body. The pupil refers to the round opening which is present in the center of the iris. The pupil is known to be black in color because the light which is passed through this region gets absorbed by the retina.
