Retina consists of various cells including ganglion cells, bipolar neurons, and photoreceptor cells. There are two forms of photoreceptor cells, that are cone and rod cells. The rod cells help to provide vision in dim light, whereas the cone cells are responsible to provide vision in bright light as well as different forms of colors.
