Concept introduction: Both of the reactions (fission and fusion) are nuclear processes in which the atoms get altered to produce energy. Yet, both the reactions are entirely different in nature. Fission is the process in which one atom divide into two atoms, while fusion is the process in which two atoms combine to form one atom.
Given: We are given two nuclear processes (Fission and Fusion) and we are asked to explain the differences between them.
