Introduction:

Neurotransmitters are the group of chemical messengers synthesized by the nerve fibers of an autonomic nervous system. They transmit the sensory impulse from one neuron to another and finally to the effector cells in the target organs. There are different types of neurotransmitters such as, Acetylcholine, Epinephrine, Norepinephrine, Dopamine, and Serotonin. The stability of these neurotransmitters in the systems physiology and its duration time of innervation in an autonomic nervous system are discussed herewith.
