The heart is a muscular organ which is formed of cardiac muscles. It pumps blood into the body. lBood is a carrier of oxygen, and nutrients, and it also removes waste discharge from the body. It carries deoxygenated blood and its purification takes place in lungs. It is located in between the lungs. Heart forms cardiovascular system as it consists of arteries and veins for pumping of blood.
