The changes in the pressure in the atria and the ventricles of the heart during the cardiac cycles.

Introduction:

The sequences of the events which occur during the heartbeat are collectively known as the cardiac cycle. During the cardiac cycle, the blood flows through the pulmonary and the cardiac circuits. The flow of the blood leads to a change in pressure in the chambers of the heart. As a consequence of this, the valves close and open.
