Question
Chapter 15, Problem 63P
Summary Introduction
To identify:
The veins that return blood to the right atrium.
Introduction:
Veins are the vessels that carry blood from the whole body to the heart. The blood that they carry is deoxygenated which goes to the heart and then to the lungs for purification. The heart then, transports the purified blood to the whole body through arteries. The blood pressure in the veins is less than arteries. Owing to this, they are comparatively thin and have valves that prevent the backflow of the blood.
