The heart is a muscular organ which is formed of cardiac muscles. It pumps blood into the body. Blood is a carrier of oxygen, nutrients, and it also removes waste discharge from the body. It carries deoxygenated blood and its purification takes place in the lungs. Functional syncytium is the masses of cardiac cells that generate signals for contraction of the heart
