Chapter 15, Problem 3WYL
Summary Introduction
To determine:
The name and location of four cranial dural septa that stabilize and support the brain. Introduction:
The cranial meninges are three connective tissue layers. They distinct the soft tissue of the brain from the bones of the cranium. These tissue layers are the pia mater, the arachnoid mater, and the dura mater. The meningeal layer of the dura mater extends as partitions into the cranial cavity at four locations. These double layers of the dura mater are collectively called cranial dural septa.
