A man with the condition of cataract undergoes surgery to treat the condition. He has his lens removed in the process.
Adequate information:
A cataract is a condition in which the clouding of the lens of an eye occurs. This condition of the eye decreases the visibility of the eye and maybe the result of conditions such as aging and medications. The treatment of this condition is generally done surgically, wherein the lens of the affected eye is surgically removed.
To determine:
The kind of lens that needs to be worn by an older adult to compensate for the removal of the eye lens.
Introduction:
Cataract, a condition that exhibits the haziness of the sight by the clouding of the lens of an eye, decreases the visibility of the person. A cataract is generally the result of aging and infrequent medication use.
