Chapter 14.8, Problem 24P
Summary Introduction

To explain: The most abundant immunoglobulins and their differences.

Introduction: The humoral response or humoral mediated immunity is given by the activation of B-cell that produces specific antibodies or immunoglobulins against each antigen. The immunoglobulins are glycoprotein molecules that are found on the surface of the plasma B-cell that can agglutinate, precipitate, neutralize, and lyse an antigen.

What is the structure and function of Eukaryotic cells, including their organelles? How are Eukaryotic cells different than Prokaryotic cells, in terms of evolution which form of the cell might have came first? How do Eukaryotic cells become malignant (cancerous)?
What are the roles of DNA and proteins inside of the cell? What are the building blocks or molecular components of the DNA and proteins? How are proteins produced within the cell? What connection is there between DNA, proteins, and the cell cycle? What is the relationship between DNA, proteins, and Cancer?
