Leader-member exchange is a kind of leadership proposed by George Graen and Fred Dansereau. It tells that leaders have different types of relationships with different types of subordinates. MX model considers each manager-subordinate relationship as unique. There are two types of leader-member exchange interactions, one is in group exchange and the other is the out-group exchange.
