Introduction:

The cerebrum is the largest part of the brain; it is concerned with the special and general senses. Most of the cerebral cortex is made up of the parietal, occipital, temporal, and insula lobes. The primary sensory cortex is the region where the sensory input is received and the person becomes conscious to a stimulus. The primary cortex and the sensory information are interpreted in the center part of the adjacent association areas.
